Story Idea 2

Here's my idea for my second story.

Plot- The plot circles around a struggling America Suburb family. After coming home after a normal business trip James learns that his father had just died of heart attack. Already feeling apart from his own family due his intense work hours, James decides that he is going to drive his family to the funeral to try and save his marriage and connection with his kids. However, his wife is having secret affairs and his teenage daughter is pregnant without his father knowing. Meanwhile his son had just gotten into West Point despite his father disapproval of his son joining the military.
On the journey to his father funeral we take a look at other families flashback to see how they got to where they are today and how they use their dark secrets of the past to rebuild their loving relationships.

Character Introduction

Here's my main character introduction I like it so far but may change feel free to leave any suggestions!!

Luke is the typical average Joe. Just in his 30's Luke seem to be planning his life they way he always wanted it to had a beautiful wife and a little girl. Luke was a architecture, or a construction which made him a very good living, and was also an ex- marine. After doing his morning exercise routine every morning Luke would make breakfast for his wife and daughter and pack her a lunch for school. By the time Luke had gotten all his morning chores done, he always fine time to go to church and thank God for the wonderful he has. Luke isn't a very fearful man only to not be able to protect his family if he would ever need to.
On the weekends Luke goes to the local YMCA to play pick up games of basketball with his friends from work and plays against other people of his community. All his friends like him, he's a good teamplayer always trying to help make somone better, always viewing him has loyal and someone they can count on. However the next day Luke's life would about to change forever....

Story Idea 1

Sorry its late but I'm still trying to come up with an original idea for my story but here's what I got so far. I'm thinking about writing about superheroes in today's modern time. I'm still working on the plot with several ideas stuck in my which I should pick the one I like by Friday. I haven't decided if I'm going to have the story focus more on the villain or the superhero and since most hero stories focus on the hero I think it would be cool the focus more on the villain.

Why I choose this exercise

I chose exercise 56 because I enjoyed closing my eyes and just visualizing a certain environment around me then writing it down. I thought this exercise was pretty easy as well especially if you were at that environment for long you can remember it like it was yesterday.This exercise also helped me to notice not only what surrounded me but noise, people and my reactions to my surrounding's.

I can remember it like it was yesterday. One of the worst jobs I had ever worked at which was at McDonalds for 3 1/2 years. Going into work I was surronded by food cooking, frying and coffee brewing. I was surronded by people of all ages and cultures around me. I can remember lobby being filled with customers and Drive Thru being lined to the road. One person who would always stand out would be my ex-boss because she would always be singing random songs while you were work, which was annoying because it would be in the middle of a rush. The sounds were annoying to everyday after work my ears would be ringing with the beeps of fryers and timers going off, and customers talking in the lobby.
Always smelt like french fries and hamburger meat everytime I went in for work and in the morning I would come across the smell of eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Ohhh! How I hated working there in the summer time it would get so hot that I would be covered in grease and sweat after a day in the grill, which was disgusting.
How I hated that job, the only thing I remember that I liked is all the friends I made while I worked there.I would always talk to my friends and managers that I liked when we wern't busy. I was always happy when I got out of work, I would go home take a shower then a nap after a long day. I did however like most of the people I worked with, and some I didn't care for.

The Character I came up with

Well the character I came up with was about someone I knew from grade school. Someone who I just remember well, why I don't know. After completing the exercise on page 27 I discovered I learned what his future life may look like just by making general observations about his past. What surprised me most about each exercise is how easy it will be to come up with characters I need for stories because I could just use people I knew from the past in future. Also I learned how to be more descriptive about making characters by developing more about there personality instead of what they look like which is what I normally do when writing papers.

Exercise 27

I think that in this persons refrigerator we would fine a lot of junk food and other unhealthy foods
because if his parents doesn't care of how he behaves around others then I don't think they will
care about his eating habits. In his closet it is probally messy with clothes that need wash, put in the hamper and some that need folding. In his car trunk I wouldn't at all be surpise to fine a baseball bat or a six pack of beer.

Writting Exercise 14

His name was Anthony it was pretty hard to forget this kid while I was and Elementary School. Anthony was never mean to me but was more of a mutual friend who I didn't even want to associate with because he was a bad egg at the time. Anyways Anthony was the school bully he lived in my neighborhood, rode the same school bus as me to school, and took same classes even in the same Sunday school church class.
I remembered that Anthony would always get in trouble in school for being disrespectful to students and teachers and on the way to school and home he would always set up in the front alone so that no one else would sit next to him. I remember him always being a spoiled brat as well always asking people how much things they bought cost and saying how his stuff is better than there’s because his cost more money.
I haven’t seen Anthony since I moved from Texas after sixth grade. I can imagine him ending up in jail for doing drugs or committing a crime because he always had bad behavior in school.
